Many of you helped with the compliling of literally hundreds of pages of notes for this project. Thanks to all of you. Some special thanks are in order:

Pete White: ex N&W/EL/Conrail operator with his almost inexhaustible tower knowledge, played a big role in filling in a lot of blanks(ie. who owned the tower, what railroad supplied the operators, etc.)

Walter J Mattes is the "tower guru" of Indiana. He possesses a thorough working knowledge of interlockings. Before I was introduced to him things like USS,GRS and Saxby and Farmer meant nothing to me.

Jon Roma has been a tower enthusiast for many years. He is a "date man",loaded with information on the building, closing and demolition dates of towers.

Thanks to the Marion Ohio group.Over half the club are ex operators and there isn't much these guys do not know about towers. Thanks for all of your collective knowledge.

Frank Garon heads up a great Yahoo Group called Alltimeinterlockingtowerlist. This is very rich source for information and lots of images too.

Mark Vogel: Thanks to him for all the track diagrams he has provided. He has a flickr page with pictures of signals you might find interesting.

Finally thanks to Trey Kunz,he has been with me from the beginning in my tower project and has supplied me with pictures, information and has provided most of the tower profile pages.

While many photographers contributed to this site(when known I have given them credit) I would like to mention four:

Bob McCord: Bob was a NYC/PC/Conrail operator. Bob worked and visited many towers and often recorded them on film. After his death Bob's sister said we could have his tower collection. This yielded over 200 towers mostly filmed in the mid 1960's.

John Fuller: John has been photographing towers and structures as early as 1968. John was a young teenager and the above mentioned Bob McCord and him would drive far and wide to record towers. Thanks John for having the foresight to record what would vanish in a few years.

David P Oroszi: I would like to thank Dave for his many tower images he has sold, traded, given or loaned to me for display on my site. He was instrumental in some technical areas as well.

John Garofalo : John is an ex PC operator from the former New Haven lines. Although he is not a photographer per se he has access to the tower photos of the late T. J. Donahue and from Henry Wilhelm.Mr. Wilhelm's photos were mainly of structures and towers. All were shot from the 1920's and 1930's. Thanks John for sharing them with us.
